A rich sparkling specimen of Rhodochrosite from the Moanda Manganese Mine, Gabon. The specimen is largely covered in lustrous gemmy scalenohedral crystals of Rhodochrosite measuring to 4mm, many are double terminated, with dark pink colour. Crystals of Rhodochrosite have formed over a grey-black matrix of Mn Oxides. A class specimen from the mine.
