A particularly fine specimen of Rhodochrosite from the Wheal Owles, St. Just, Cornwall. Pastel pink ribbons of inter grown spherulites and scattered hemispheres of Rhodochrosite, are abundantly seen on a sparkling druse of pyramidal Quartz crystals. The matrix is alternating bands of Quartz and hard jasper-like Goethite/Chalcedony. A great specimen from one of Cornwalls most famous mines.
