A fine classic specimen of Rhodochrosite from the Wolf Mine, Herdorf, Germany. Excellent crystals of Rhodochrosite measuring to 1.2cm richly lining a shallow open cavity on a characteristic Goethite gossan matrix, some crystals displaying bowtie-rice grain habit, with a fine translucent pink colour.
