Rhodochrosite Geode

ID: CC2079

A Rhodochrosite "geode" from the old Cassandra Mines. The piece is relatively large and is entirely made of "worm-like" multi-stacked crystals of Rhodochrosite - individually to c. 1.5cm long. The main display side forms a bowl shaped indentation. Solid. A very interesting Rhodo from this classic Greek locality.
