A fine specimen of Roselite with Cobaltoan Calcite from the well known mining area of Bou Azer, Morocco. The Roselite forms a rich sparkling covering of drusy deep pink-maroon crystals, coating the top surface and lining a slot-like cavity at one end of the specimen. Very light pink rounded rhombic crystals of Cobaltoan Calcite have formed on the Roselite in clusters and an intergrown row. Both minerals have grown on a thin druse of colourless to white Quartz on a matrix. A great specimen to hunt over with a loup or microscope.
