An unusual and rare old time specimen of pseudohexagonal Ilmenite crystals measuring to 1cm pseudomorphed by crystallized dark maroon-red reticulated Rutile from the famous Alpine Binn Valley, Switzerland. Also scattered over the Quartz-Muscovite matrix are brilliant gemmy red micro-crystals of Rutile to around 0.5mm, and a cluster of octahedral black Magnetite crystals. A super specimen of a rare pseudomorph.
