Scheelite With Fluorite on Quartz

ID: CC5779

Sharply formed tetragonal crystals of Scheelite measuring to 1cm are scattered over the cavity rich drusy Quartz matrix, from the Herkules-Frisch Glück Mine. Lustrous crystals of Scheelite are a translucent-opaque lith orange-yellow colour, associated with colourless to tinted blue cubic Fluorite crystals. A pleasing specimen from a mine that has been a show mine since the 1920s.
