Scorodite

ID: CC686

Rich coverage of Scorodite on this specimen with gemmy to opaque lustrous crystals ranging in colour from dark blue to light green lining several cavities. The largest cavity is approx 4 x 3 cm. All cavities in the translucent Quartz matrix are coated with chocolate brown Iron Oxides, including an area of small iridescent crystals. The largest Scorodite crystal is approximately 7mm long, and most crystals are well formed with good terminations. Plenty of detail in this specimen.
