Several shallow cavities are exposed in the milky Quartz matrix, revealing a good coverage of lustrous blue Scorodite crystals, nicely contrasted against a reddish brown Iron Oxide coating. The Scorodite crystals are well formed and elongate, sometimes forming radiating clusters, and measuring up to 4mm in length. The largest exposed area is 4 x 3cm. An attractive specimen representative of Hemerdon Ball Mine Scorodites.
