Scorodite

ID: CC3671

Crystallized spheres of Scorodite on Quartz with Goethite replaced Siderite crystals, from the Clara Mine, Oberwolfach, Germany. Translucent lustrous grey-blue spheres of Scorodite measuring to over 5mm are clustered in an area on colourless to white pyramidal crystals of Quartz. Red-brown Goethite replaced saddle shaped crystals of Siderite are associated with the Quartz. The underside of the Quartz specimen displays casts after Fluorite, with some remnant Fluorite.
