Fine crystal specimen of metallic grey Semseyite with a slight reddish-purple patina, on Sphalerite and Galena, from the Herja Mine, Romania. Crystals of Semseyite on this specimen display a more open platy habit, measuring to around 5mm, occupying several cavities on a partitioned matrix. Formed on a vein of Sphalerite on Galena with minor biscuit brown Siderite, areas of the specimen have a white coating of an undetermined mineral.
