A fine cabinet specimen of Siderite from the world famous Virtuous Lady Mine, Devon. The Siderite specimen has an overall botryoidal form composed of intergrown lenticular (fish-scale) crystals to 0.5cm diameter. The colour varies from translucent yellow brown to dark brown, with a silky luster. The Siderite has formed on a crystalline white Quartz. An excellent example of Siderite from this classic mine. The specimen comes with an A. Krantz label.
