Excellently developed crystals of Siderite from the Cook's Kitchen Mine, Illogan, Cornwall. The crystals of Siderite measuring to 1cm are in the Fish Scale habit inter grown in a dome shape. Also to be seen on the specimen is an inter grown crystal area measuring to 0.5mm of mixed Chalcopyrite-Tetrahedrite/Tenantite, indicating that the specimen may have come from the upper levels of the mine. A neat old time specimen from the mine.
