Siderite Lady Slipper

ID: CC3267

A specimen probably one of the most well known Epimorphs from the Virtuous Lady Mine, Buckland Monachorum, Devon. The specimen of Siderite after Baryte displays the classic shape of the bladed Baryte crystal epimorphed by tan-dark brown coloured Siderite, with a dusting of Pyrite. The Siderite shows the lenticular crystal habit (called fish scale Siderite). A great specimen of a Devonshire classic.
