Spherical clusters of light biscuit Siderite are seen scattered and inter grown on white prismatic crystals of Quartz, from the celebrated Virtuous Lady Mine, Buckland Monachorum, Devon. The clusters of Siderite measuring to an average of 0.7cm diameter, are seen to be composed of layers of lenticular crystals. A matrix of Black tarnished druse of Chalcopyrite crystals supports the contrasting Siderite and Quartz. A metallic silvery mass of Arsenopyrite has been over grown by the later formed Chalcopyrite. A fine specimen from this well known Devonshire Mine.
