A very seldom seen large specimen of Skutterudite crystals from the historic mining area of Jachymov, Czech Republic. Well developed cubic crystals of Skutterudite measuring to 4mm on edge are abundantly aggregated and scattered over the Ferruginous Quartz matrix. Many of the Skutterudite crystals are interpenetrant twins, which can be characteristic of the species. The Skutterudite and Ferruginous Quartz have formed on an intermixed Quartz and undefined sulphide-arsenide species. An excellent specimen from the mining district
