Smithsonite

ID: CC2363

A beautifully formed specimen of Smithsonite from the celebrated specimen mecca of the Tsumeb Mine. The specimen has a dome-like shape, composed of many intergrown rounded Smithsonite crystal bundles. The Smithsonite 'wheat-sheaf' groups are multi terminated giving the specimen a pleasing glimmer, and with a fine translucency. A particularly great Smithsonite from the Tsumeb Mine, wonderful in person.
