An very fine 'cuprian' Smithsonite from the classic Choix area in Mexico. The specimen displays a gorgeous shade of sea blue green Smithsonite, and shows at least two phase growths. The last deposition of Smithsonite is of inter grown somewhat rounded gemmy to translucent crystals and covers a thin biscuit coloured altered Limestone matrix. A great specimen from the area.
