Excellent dark chocolate coloured crystals of Smithsonite are richly deposited within a long cavity on drusy Quartz, from the San Valentin Mine, La Union Spain. Crystals of Smithsonite are seen as sub-parallel cluster and druse of elongated rice grain habit. An undefined tan coloured mineral is seen in association with the Smithsonite to one edge of the specimen. A fine specimen of Smithsonite from a seldom seen Spanish location.
