Smithsonite With Azurite and Malachite

Translucent botryoidal-crystallized Smithsonite from Chessy-les-Mines, France. The Smithsonite is tinted green. with later depositions of lustrous bladed royal blue Azurite crystals measuring to 1.4cm. Individual spherulites and botryoidal clusters of green Malachite, and probably pastel blue Rosasite have also partly over grown the Smithsonite. Multi species specimens are not common from this well known French mining area.
