Smithsonite With Siderite
ID:
CC387
An interesting miniature featuring several balls of pale yellow Smithsonite in an exposed cavity lined with brown Siderite crystals. The Smithonsite forms several globules up to 14mm across, has a matt lustre and is quite translucent. The Siderite encrusts the cavity in a layer approx 4mm thick, forming lustrous bladed crystals. Scattered over the Siderite are tiny ruby Sphalerite crystals. Displays well.
