A characteristic specimen of well terminated Japan Law Smoky Quartz, from the Quartz location at the Mina Tiro Estrella, New Mexico, USA. The Quartz deposit was first known of in the mid-1970s found by the famous American collector Dick Jones. The Japan Law Twin we have displays the typical tabular habit with striated pyramidal faces, and gemmy light to mid smoky colour. Classic specimen from the location.
