A particularly fine very lustrous specimen of Sphalerite from the Dal'negorsk mining area, Far Eastern Russia. Crystals of black Sphalerite are abundantly formed over the display faces of the specimen. The Sphalerite exhibiting rounded step pyramidal stacking of the crystals, some areas showing triangular grown patens. Small associated prismatic crystals of Quartz are overgrown by reddish-brown Siderite, with a couple of lenticular white Calcite crystals. A fine specimen of Sphalerite from the district.
