Rich coloured deep raspberry red crystals of Spinel, from the Marble area around the Uluguru Mountains, Tanzania. The Spinel crystals measure to 2.1cm, with great pyramid-like octahedral form. Associated with translucent white Calcite, and glassy yellow-brown 'Scapolite'. The Spinel crystals are largely translucent with some gemmy areas at the edges of the crystals.
