Spodumene Var Kunzite

A well formed bladed crystal of Kunzite displays on one side of a Lepidolite matrix from the Dara-i-Pech area in Afghanistan. The gemmy to translucent pink crystal of Kunzite shows a double termination and finely striated prism faces, measuring to 4.7cm tall. Set on a crystallized pink/slivery matrix of Lipidolite Mica, with platy crystals of a Feldspar. A small blue/grey tourmaline crystal can also be seen at the base of the Kunzite crystal. A neat specimen from Afghanistan.
