Very rare Stottite is one of those must have minerals from the famous Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. The specimen we have to offer displays a lustrous sharply formed lustrous crystal measuring to 4.5mm, with the characteristic rich brown to yellowish areas. Crystal faces of the Stottite are striated on the pyramid faces parallel to pinacoid termination. Abundant circular translucent yellow blocky micro-crystals of Zincian Siderite, are in abundant association with the Stottite. Both minerals have formed on crystals of metallic grey Chalcocite, and tetrahedral Tennantite crystals, over grown by Chalcocite on a mixed polymetallic massive Sulphide matrix. A super crystal specimen of Stottite from the Tsumeb Mine.
