Single well-formed tabular crystal of Tantalite-(Mn) from the Chapa Dara Pegmatite area in Afghanistan. The Tantalite crystal measuring to 3.3cm with modified corners and striated on the broad faces with a very dark deep red almost black colour, and displays of maroon red to some areas. A small area of matrix Albite and Muscovite is seen on a corner of the specimen.
