Most specimens of Tarbuttite from the Skorpion Mine came out a few years ago in a rush and a flurry, many collectors missing the opportunity. We have a smashing specimen from the find, the Tarbuttite specimen measuring to 5cm diameter. Crystals of Tarbuttite have completely clustered over the display area of the matrix. Forming a integrated flower like cris-cross of inter grown fan crystal groups. A pleasing light sea green colour is seen to the Tarbuttite crystals. The crystal terminations are glass-gemmy, with frosted prism faces. A matrix of banded Mn Oxides forms the base on which the Tarbuttite has formed.
