Well formed crystals of any Sulphide based species are considered rare to very uncommon from Tsumeb Mine. The specimen of Tennantite we have displays four intergrown tetrahedral crystals up to 3cm on edge. The Tennantite shows the very typical natural etching of the crystal faces, but are overall the sharp crystal form has been retained. Scattered over the Tennantite are white lustrous stubby 1mm crystals of Willemite, and sparkling black elongate micro-crystals of Sulphide-included Mimetite. The Tennantite cluster has formed on a group of prismatic crystals of Quartz to 0.8cm long, and several Quartz crystals are also scattered on the Tennantite. All are on a mass of naturally etched Galena. A well crystallized specimen of Tennantite for the Tsumeb Mine that displays quite well!
