Titanite and Quartz

ID: CC2664

A splendid specimen of Titanite from the Alchuri area in Pakistan. The specimen displays a well formed double wedge form crystal of Titanite sitting aesthetically upright on the matrix, associated further intergrown clusters of Titanite. A very pleasing green colour is seen to the Titanite crystals excellently contrasted with the crystal druse of lustrous colourless to white Adularia. On one edge of the specimen a well developed crystal of lustrous Smoky Quartz is very apparent, with several other areas of Smoky Quartz on the specimen. A classic Titanite specimen from the area in Pakistan.
