An excellent double terminated colour zoned crystal of Tourmaline from one of Brazil's most famous gem mines. The single crystal measuring to 5.6cm is terminated by a three faced pyramid at one end, while the other end is a flat pinacoid, with striations parallel to the prism faces A part formed multi-faced crystal of Tourmaline sits obliquely across one side of the main crystal. The colour zoning of the crystal is a lilac central area, with a light green termination at one end. The flat pinacoid displays a gradation from colourless to light blue with a deep blue cap.
