ID: CC2983

Distinct crystals of Tsumcorite are the feature of the specimen from the type locality at Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. The crystals of Tsumcorite form intergrown covering displaying open rosettes of rounded platy habit. Smaller crystals have a lustrous mustard yellow colour, becoming a more translucent yellow brown in the larger crystals. A reddish to creamy Dolomite forms the matrix for the Tsumcorite crystals.
