A vuggy matrix is covered by a botryoidal layer of brown to velvety black Goethite, on which have grown many Wulfenite crystals, which are in turn overgrown by platy yellow Tsumcorite crystals. The Wulfenites are translucent pale orangey-brown with a bright lustre, with modified tabular crystals measuring to 13mm across. The Tsumcorite is bright mustard yellow in thin platey crystals measuring to 1mm in size, in places liberally encrusting the Goethite. Tsumcorite a type mineral for Tsumeb, and is a rare Arsenate.
