Uvite With Magnesite

ID: CC2933

Fine green crystals of Uvite Tourmaline are aggregated over and with crystals of Magnesite from the Brumado area of Brazil. The Uvite crystals measuring to 0.8cm show the typical small development of the prism faces, with dominant three faced pyramidal termination, and are translucent to gemmy. Crystals of Uvite have formed on intergrown rhombic crystals of Magnesite. Later crystals of gemmy colourless Magnesite crystal to 1cm on edge have grown amongst the Uvite crystals. A neat specimen from the area.
