A great miniature specimen of Vanadinite on Phosphohedyphane from a classic Scottish location of the Belton Grain Vein, Wanlockhead. The Vanadinite forms scattered tan coloured balls to 2.5mm diameter, with a satiny lustre. The Vanadinite has developed on a thin coating of white Phosphohedyphane, which in turn has overgrown a black Mn/Fe matrix. A rare species in Scotland from a classic location.
