Variscite is a relatively rare mineral and this specimen is from the 2006 Boa Vista pegmatite find in Brazil, and is perhaps the best display specimen of the batch. Two sections measuring 25 x 25mm each in the white Albite matrix exhibit a vuggy comb-like structure and are encrusted with translucent light to dark pink spheroidal clusters of Variscite, exhibiting vitreous sparkling luster. Presents beautifully.
