ID: CC838

Variscite is a relatively rare mineral and this specimen is from the 2006 Boa Vista pegmatite find. An area of vuggy white Albite measuring 50 x 25mm is encrusted with spheroidal clusters of dark red Variscite, which exhibits vitreous luster (to 2mm). Great display specimen for the species!
