ID: CC4985

An excellent specimen of this rare Phosphate from the Huanuni, area, Bolivia. This mineral species was named after the well known American collector George Vaux, Jr. The Vauxite has a lovely intense blue colour. Comprised of sparkling tiny bladed Vauxite crystals formed in lustrous rosette-like clusters of crystals as a cast over an earlier white matrix. A very pretty specimen!
