ID: CC4345

A rich and rare for the location specimen of Vivianite from Wheal Betsy, on the north west edge of Dartmoor. Wheal Betsy worked a N-S lead vein in the mid-19th century. The specimen we have shows an almost black crystallized Vivianite covering a granular ferruginous Quartz matrix, with some development of a botryoidal habit to the edge of the Vivianite.
