Willemite

ID: CC1725

A super cool specimen with a weird tube-like formation of Willemite. The specimen is an aggregate of intergrown well formed hexagonal crystals in a somewhat convoluted arrangement. The gemmy to translucent sea green Willemite has the characteristic bright sparkling luster, with darker areas due to inclusions of Mn-Fe oxides. A fine Willemite from Tsumeb Mine, creating a fantastic and unusual display.
