Willemite

ID: CC2530

A fabulous gemmy-translucent blue Willemite from probably the best location for the variety of colours known at the Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. The Willemite forms a fine tight drusey botryoidal surface of Willemite crystals, with a great sparkling lustre. White crystals of Dolomite are seen aggregated and scattered in areas on the Willemite. A matrix of mixed Dolomite with areas of green Malachite and glassy Cerussite. An excellent specimen of Willemite from Tsumeb.
