Willemite Pseudomorph After Descloizite

A rare pseudomorph of Willemite crystals after Descloizite from the Chah Milleh Mine, Iran. Sparkling Christmas tree-like formations of Descloizite measuring to 4cm, are seen as an open group of crystals. The crystals of Descloizite have been completely replaced by dark brown micro-crystals of Willemite. Having a later deposition of burnt orange Mimetite druse on some crystal faces of the pseudomorphs. These specimens were first noted in 2000 at the Munich show.
