A well formed single crystal of Witherite coated by white Baryte, probably from the Admiralty Flats in the Nentsberry Haggs Mine, Alston Moor. The crystal of Witherite measures to 3.7cm tall depicting great hexagonal form. The 'back' of the specimen has an area of attached tiny Calcite crystals. A fine specimen of Witherite from a well known location for the species.
