A classic specimen of Witherite in pseudohexagonal crystals forming a stepped dome like parallel habit. Displaying naturally etched incised hopper like terminations, showing a thin replacement coating of creamy Baryte. A specimen from the 2nd Sun Vein Nentsberry Haggs Mine, Cumbria. The underside of the specimen has associated dark brown Sphalerite. Very characteristic specimen from replacement Flats associated with the 2nd Sun Vein.
