Wolframite Pseudomorph After Scheelite

ID: CC709
An interesting specimen from our 2006 mining project at Hemerdon, Devon of Wolframite pseudomorphing Scheelite. Two crystals are present in the milky Quartz matrix, one of which forms a sharp octahedral crystal measuring almost 1cm across. The crystal is not complete and reveals a vuggy internal structure. This is the first scheelite pseudomorph we have seen from this location, very rare!!
