Wurtzite With Sphalerite

A particularly uncommonly well developed specimen of botyriodal Wurtzite with some replacement by Sphalerite, from the Lockridge Mine, Bere Ferrers, Devon. Many specimens were recovered from the now protected site (SSSI) some years ago. The colour is the characteristic matt dark brown with an internal fibrous structure on remnant colourless-purple Fluorite.
