A gorgeous gemmy crystal of Zoisite var Tanzanite from the classic location of Merelani Hills, Tanzania. A beautiful rich blue with a violet tint is seen to the crystal of Tanzanite. The crystal measuring to 3.9cm tall and is excellently terminated. On the reverse of the specimen a more bladed crystal of Tanzanite has developed in a sub-parallel habit, with a multiple termination. A terrific Tanzanite crystal from the area.
