Rounded blades of Quartz after Baryte, each typically 5 x 1 cm, are coated with tiny acicular, limey-grass-green Pyromorphite crystals along their upper faces. The Pyromorphite crystals average 1 to 2 mm long, tapering towards their terminations and have lustrous prism faces. A great specimen from the classic Hofsgrund mine in the Black Forest district of Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
