A fine bright lemon-yellow large miniature Native Sulphur from Agrigento Province on the island of Sicily, Italy. Gemmy-translucent crystals of Native Sulphur measuring to over 1.5 cm form mostly as two parallel habits with outlying crystals at the edges of the specimen. The base shows a core of paler lemon fine granular Native Sulphur together with creamy white Aragonite. Such specimens of well crystallized Native Sulphur are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain and this is a good example, especially for inclusion in a suite of elements or a representation of the periodic table.
