A very rich cabinet specimen of lustrous orange to barley sugar orange red Vanadinite occurring as richly intergrown tabular hexagonal crystals from the Apache mine in the Globe Hills District of Gila County, Arizona USA. The Vanadinite crystals, which measure to 5 mm, cover most of the matrix and on both sides. Areas of the patchy black and sucrosic white matrix are covered in mats of tiny, sub-millimetre Vanadinite crystals of delicate apricot. A fine and rich Vanadinite from Arizona.
